As DANiNJECT’s distributor in Poland, Lukasz Malyszko advises customers based on his extensive knowledge of immobilizing animals ranging from wild boar and lynx to beef cattle.

“I’m not only a theorist, but I also have practical experience, and I know by heart what is important for the customers,” he says.

He has developed this expertise through years of diverse veterinary work. His experience includes serving in the Polish army’s veterinary corps, where he cared for service dogs, and managing his own clinic, often assisting public authorities with capturing wild boars.

“I have a contract with one of the major Polish cities to capture 400 wild boars,” explains Lukasz Malyszko, who also manufactures a wild boar repellent through his company,  Wildcare.

Advising rewilding projects

So he often uses his own equipment, and he applies that knowledge in his work with clients. His advice is sought by nature parks, rewilding projects, and private individuals alike.

“In Poland, we have a number of rewilding projects involving, for example, lynx and wisent, where immobilization is a key part of the work, and the equipment is also frequently used for beef cattle that have run away. We have a number of herds of free-ranging Simmental cattle, which sometimes escape and need to be recaptured,” explains Lukasz Malyszko.

The fact that he has become a distributor of DANiNJECT equipment also stems from his appreciation for the products.

“I’ve had the chance to try different equipment, but this is the best. The pressure can be set with great precision, and the syringes are tough and robust. If you clean them, you can reuse them several times, and that’s a big advantage.”

“The only thing that isn’t so good for me as a distributor is that the rifles are of such high quality that they can last a lifetime, so I can’t sell as many. I’m saying that joking, of course, because the most important thing is that the products are high quality, and people still need support. We’re also seeing in Poland that demand has grown as the Polish economy has improved, so clinics that previously managed with just one rifle now need to buy an extra one,” he says.
